Two new members joined the Holland Festival Supervisory Board on 15 March: Raquel van Haver and Hendrik Jan Biemond. Together with chairman Carolien Gehrels, Tom de Swaan, Astrid Helstone, Guikje Roethof and Gert-Jan van den Bergh, they oversee the festival's board.

Raquel van Haver (Bogotá, Colombia) is a Dutch artist and founder of the Passage. She lives and works in Amsterdam. In 2012, she graduated from the HKU, Fine Arts department, in Utrecht. Solo exhibitions include Spirits of the Soil at Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam (2018) and Amo a la Reina (2020). That same year, her work was part of the open-air exhibition Holland Festival in the city. Foreign exhibitions included Ghana, Nigeria, Germany, UK, Colombia and Belgium. Van Haver was selected for the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in 2016 as an up-and-coming and most influential young artist. She won the Dutch Royal Prize for Painting in 2018 and the Amsterdam Prize in 2019.

Hendrik Jan Biemond (Maassluis, Netherlands) is a lawyer and partner at law firm Allen & Overy in Amsterdam. He advises clients on compliance and governance issues and investigates suspected intergrity incidents. Biemond is a former prosecutor and deputy counsel at the Arnhem-Leeuwarden Court of Appeal. He held various supervisory and board positions at civil society organisations, and was a member of the Amsterdam City Council from 2018-2002, whose portfolio included arts and culture.
