Take a seat in the HF Young Waiting Room: a place between now and what’s to come.
On Tuesday evening, 25 November, we open the new HF Young season with an intimate listening night filled with music, conversation and experimentation.
In the warm, softly lit space of Proxy on the Parnassusweg, we’ll explore the world of sound together. Violinist, composer and vocalist Diamanda La Berge Dramm performs music from her latest album CHIMP and shares how her work relates to that of associate artist Hildur Guðnadóttir, touching on technology and acoustics, female sound-makers, and the search for a new musical language.
Afterwards, a conversation full of anticipation and curiosity unfolds. What makes Hildur’s work so remarkable, and what are we most looking forward to for the upcoming Holland Festival? HF Young Circle member Kiriko Mechanicus will discuss this with Diamanda and composer Luke Deane, while revealing the first performances that will be part of Holland Festival 2026.
Finally, together with Luke and Diamanda, we’ll explore Hildur’s fascination with the connection between body and sound.
After the programme, you’re welcome to stay, enjoy the atmosphere, and have a drink accompanied by music.
An evening to listen, to reflect and to get excited about everything the Holland Festival 2026 has to offer.
