FEM(with)ME is a three-hour workshop that places femininity at its center. Developed with and for LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities, it is open to everyone.
The workshop is led by Black Pearl de Almeida Lima – a Berlin-based Afro-Latinx trans multidisciplinary artist from Brazil. Her work is shaped by years of experience in European art institutions, dance companies, and the ballroom scene. As a member of the Iconic House of Saint Laurent Europe and the Kiki House of Solar, Black Pearl combines runway, movement, and lived experience into a bold artistic and political practice.Drawing on this multidisciplinary background, the workshop flows seamlessly between dance, runway, experimental movement, floor work, and performance. These elements interweave to explore how femininity lives in the body.
The session progresses from a warm-up to runway and heels training, followed by choreography and performance. Participants work on posture, movement, and self-expression, with an emphasis on confidence, authenticity, and presence.
Practical information
Bring an outfit in which you feel powerful. Heels are recommended.
