FAQ - Streams


1 - The player will run best in the latest version of Chrome or Safari. Firefox and Edge are also compatible. For the best viewing experience, use a computer. Streaming from a smartphone is not recommended.
2 - A download speed of 15 Mbps (Megabits per second) should easily be sufficient to watch a stream. You can check this by performing a speed test, for example at speedtest.net. However, the quality of your internet connection can fluctuate from one moment to the next. Would you like to be sure? Connecting your device to the router with a cable is usually more reliable than wifi.
3 - Note: the sound is automatically switched off when the player starts. You have to switch it on using the button on the bottom left of the player.
4 - If you wish to stream the film from a device in order to watch it on TV, Chromecast will only work in combination with the Chrome browser. Airplay and Apple TV work well with Safari. If these do not work, then using an HDMI cable is a good alternative.
5 - If you experience any hiccups in the video or sound, please use the player's settings to reduce the picture quality. It will take about 30 seconds for the player to process the adjustment. If this has not solved the problem, you can pause the video to play it again later. (This is however not available for livestreamings).
