welcome at the holland festival

The Holland Festival, the largest international performing arts festival in the Netherlands, will celebrate its 79th edition in 2026. Each year in June, the festival takes place in and around Amsterdam at various locations, indoors and outdoors, on a large and intimate scale, both online and offline.

The performing arts are presented in their full breadth: music, music theatre, theatre, dance, multidisciplinary forms, visual arts and film. The Holland Festival is artist-driven: it places artists centre stage, allowing them complete freedom to showcase art in all its facets – innovative, pioneering and artistically challenging.

In 2026, the Holland Festival will take place from 3 to 29 June (start date subject to change). The full programme will be announced on 3 March, but the first four performances are already on sale now!
