Krisztina de Châtel's ballet "Staunch" was created in close collaboration with composer John McDowell and visual artist Peter Vermeulen. In this choreography, for which De Châtel was inspired during a three-month study trip in Senegeal and Ghana, the five different dancers try to manifest themselves as a close-knit group. This attempt is disrupted by spatial changes.
