Roshanak Morrowatian

Roshanak Morrowatian is a dancer, performer, and choreographer with a BA and MA in Dance from the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen. She has worked with renowned artists such as Marina Abramović, Pina Bausch, and Alexis Blake, and has appeared in films and theatre productions. As a choreographer, she has created works for institutions including Dutch National Opera and her own company, Rover. In 2020, she received the BNG Bank Dance Award and the Dutch Dance Festival Award. Her interdisciplinary work explores themes of identity, rituals, and diaspora. She also teaches at the Amsterdam University of the Arts.
