Łukasz Twarkowski (1983) is a theatre and film director, scenographer and creator of multimedia performances that combine theatre and visual arts. Over the past ten years, he has worked with the famous Polish theatre director Krystian Lupa on a range of productions, which include Proces (Holland Festival 2019). Łukasz also founded the Identity Problem Group, an interdisciplinary collective that aims to combine visual and performing arts with literature, architecture and sound art. He has worked as a regular director at the Polski Theatre in Wroclaw and is currently a freelance director for various theatres throughout Europe.
