information meeting cultural legacy

The Holland Festival, together with other cultural institutions, is organising the Week van Nalaten aan Cultuur (‘Cultural Legacy Week’) from 31 October to 4 November. We are doing this to bring attention to the possibilities for passing culture on to the next generations and the ways that you can shape a legacy in a way that is fitting.  During this week, there will be activities surrounding this theme with various organisations participating throughout the Netherlands. The Holland Festival will also be organising an activity about legacies, together with Amsterdam Sinfonietta and the Netherlands Chamber Choir in the Muziekgebouw in Amsterdam.

Starting at 10:45 am on Wednesday 2 November, you are welcome to visit an information meeting where we will talk about the importance of and possibilities for passing on culture. We will give examples of how our organisations handle this, and there will be a notary to explain the organisational and practical sides of a legacy. Subsequently at 11:45 am, we will visit the dress rehearsal of the new work Bosch Requiem from Joey Roukens, which will have its world premiere the day after.
