Francesco Donadello

Francesco Donadello (Italy) is a sound engineer specialising in recording/mixing/mastering. His recent clients include Johann Johannsson, Modeselektor & Tom Yorke, Efterklang, A winged Victory for the Sullen, Dustin O’Halloran, Moderat, and many others.

He has a tremendous musical and technical background, which helps him to move easily through different styles. He works mostly in Vox Ton, his beloved recording/mixing studio, and Calyx Mastering, where he does mastering and vinyl cutting. He likes to work on film soundtracks, electronic and experimental music and mainstream production as well. Creativity and respect for the artist's vision are at the centre of his approach to mixing a track.

Over the past year, he collaborated with Rick Rubin, Ludovico Einaudi, Johann Johannsson, Katy Perry, David Sylvian, Hauschka, Ben Frost, Liima, and almost all the artists from Erased Tapes Records, including Nils Frahm, Kiasmos, Douglas Dare and many others.
