Daniel Wohl (1980, France) is an award-winning composer known for his distinctive and provocative blend of electronic and acoustic instrumentation. A classically trained musician born in Paris and now based in Los Angeles, his work spans opera, film, and television.
Performances of his electroacoustic concert music have taken place at renowned international venues, including The Broad Museum, the Hollywood Bowl, Carnegie Hall, and the Barbican Centre. He has collaborated with orchestras such as the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the London Contemporary Orchestra, as well as ensembles from the San Francisco Symphony and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, among others.
