Damien Jalet (1976, Belgium) is an independent Belgian-French choreographer and dancer known for his visually striking, interdisciplinary works that merge dance with visual art, music, film, and fashion. He regularly enters artistic collaborations with world-renowned artists such as Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Marina Abramović, and Ryuichi Sakamoto.


Jalet has also choreographed for cinema, including Suspiria by Luca Guadagnino and Jacques Audiard's César-winning musical Emilia Pérez. His work is marked by sculptural movement, ritual elements, and a continual exploration of the body’s relationship to landscape and sound. He was appointed Officer of the Order of Arts and Letters by the French government in October 2022.
